Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is the hilarious story of a modern day Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick, Afghanistan war vet, Dr. John Watson. This Sherlock is a sort of weird savant with sociopathic tendencies. He is quite funny in using every opportunity to point out the diminished capacity of the brain power that surrounds him. Watson is strangely drawn to Holmes, but Holmes is apparently unable to respond to normal human things like friendship and love.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone who enjoys good mysteries with a lot of humor and action.
I especially liked... | ||
Martin Freeman as Watson and Benedict Cumberbacht as Holmes. They are hilarious together. I also enjoy Mark Gatiss as Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock's highly placed government official brother.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
watch more of the series. I watched the first 2 seasons on Netflix - the 3rd is now airing on PBS, on Sunday night after Downton Abbey.
