Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is a movie about an ex-Prime Minister of Britain who is writing his memoirs (Pierce Brosnan). He hires a Ghost Writer, who ends up dead so he has to get another one (Ewan Mcgregor). While writing, McGregor's character discovers that the first ghost writer's death was not an accident or suicide. So, he sort of investigates. Meanwhile, the ex-Prime Minister is about to be tried in the Hague for War Crimes. This is a thriller.
I especially liked... | ||
Eli Wallach. It was weird he was in this as I was just reading about him, having watched the 1960 movie, The Misfits. In this movie, Mr. Wallach is about 96 years old.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
watch something completely different.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
isn't that great. I like Kim Cattrall (as Brosnan's mistress/assistant) and Eli Wallach. The rest of them look like their just collecting a paycheck. They all look bored. Even Mr. Hooves, who typically likes this type of movie, didn't like it.
I don't recommend this DVD because...
it was pretty boring. I would have to have more scenes with Eli Wallach in order to recomment it.
