Sybil is the story of a woman who suffered from Multiple Personality discorder. It's the story of Dr. Wilbur who tries to find the reason for SIXTEEN personalities of Sybil and join them into one. It is the story of extreme child abuse which cause a girlof three year old to dissociate.

anybody who wants to read psychology. This is actually dubbed as reference and non-fiction book.

Nothing. The book has a very deep impact but it's quite disturbing too. The incidence stay in your mind not because of their beauty but because of horrific details.

the language of the book.

sad and horrified . I don't care if it's truth or fiction. Anybody needs that sick imagination even to think about these things

is a doctor. Don't expect brilliant pose.

it helps one get a basic idea about psychology.

it's extremely graphic and includes a lot many details of child abuse.

I picked up this book to get an inspiration for the horror story. But the incidents described in book are too horrific for my taste. I am told that there's a movie and TV series too based on this book. I won't be seeing them ever.
