This type of Book is good for...
Inspiration, plain and simple. Rumor has it that King’s wife, Tabitha, found the first few pages of this manuscript in a waste basket. After fishing it out and reading it herself, she thought it was great and asked him to finish it. With that bit of encouragement, she had a hand in making Stephen King who he is today.
I especially liked... | ||
The ending, although the book hardly compares to the movie.
The author of this Book...
Stephen King, an unheard of author at that time, makes his debut with what I feel is one of best books. It’s King before he even knew he was King, and this book made him a household name.
Further Comments... | ||
This book made Stephen King into one of the greatest horror writers of our time, and I highly recommend this classic if you’re into being scared to death.
