The book description by the author (Laurell K. Hamilton) reads:~

I think that perfectly sums up the novel. Ane believe me, the most powerful bloodsucker in town is one nasty piece of work.

Those who enjoy reading vampires, romance, mystery and a little dash of detecitve will love this. It's great for entertainment purposes and I believe this is great for entertainment.

Anita Blake (the main character), has a great personality. I'm not saying she's nice, but I'm saying she's tough and her way of words is second-to-none.

I also enjoyed the character of Jean-Claude, a devious vampire.

Read the next one... which I did. I've now read the whole series. I'd recommend it, but it does go into the XGC rating the further on you go.

Laurell K Hamilton is still writing this series and is set to release the 22nd book in this series in July 2013. I can't wait to read it!

I enjoyed it so much, I want others to enjoy it as well!
