I am a little biased when it comes to these movies! My first experience with the Aliens franchise was when i was 8 or 9. my mother was having a girly night with one of her friends (Terry)and as she did not have a babysitter i was along for the ride. so there i was in Terry's bed covers pulled up to my nose watching Aliens (that number 2) around about half way through the movie Terry crept into the room around the end of the bed and just as an Alien jumps up toward Hudson she leaped up waving her arms and screamed at me.... as you can imaging i nearly pooed myself.

I have loved these movies from that moment on. I know i am messed up!

Alien
Well ahead of it's time this movie is the most suspenseful of the 4. although a bit dated now at the time the special effects were awesome. This movie introduces Ripley to the world along with arguably the most terrifying monster conceived. this movie is still enjoyable to watch but if you are expecting the special effects of Avatar you will be disappointed. But it has the well deserved title of a classic and a must watch for any si-fi enthusiast.

Aliens:
my favorite by a long shot. this is a typical 80's shoot' em up movie. lot and lots and lots of aliens bigger guns, almost endless clips, nukes,face huggers, chest explosions do i need to go on? this movie is a must see!

Aliens 3:
From memory this movie was a flop at the cinemas, however i did not mind this movie so much. this was a modern version of the first Alien in my view. an enjoyable watch more suspense than the second one and a ok addition to the franchise.

Alien Resurrection:
This is the worst of all four movies. not well thought out and get really weird about half way through. don't waste 2 hours of your life with this.

There have been a couple of new additions to the franchise since these have come out. so get among est it!

Watching? Any Si-Fi/horrow fan

Aliens: i like action movies and it has one of the best lines of all time... "Get away from her you B@#$H

Alien Resurrection: if i could sue for the loss if enjoyment to life i would!

Watch it again! well 1, 2 and 3 anyway
