This type of Book is good for...
Anyone who likes intrigue and action. If The reader is even slightly interested in characters like James Bond, then they will be entertained by these stories.
I especially liked... | ||
Nick Carter books are each written by a different author. I liked this writer's style because the story was easy to read and understand. The plot is interesting and exciting as we see our character do what he does best. There was dialogue where it was needed and a lot of action. The descriptions were intertwined with the sequence of events.
I didn't like... | ||
The only thing I didn't like was that there are no more of these being printed. I also would have liked to have known who the author was so that I might find more of his or her work.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
I wanted to find more of these books which has Nick Carter as the main character. I was happy to find some other copies and read a few more. While the character is consistant, the plot varies and in some cases the stories were a little bit harder to follow.
This Book made me feel...
I was intrigued by the character and his activities and actions.
The author of this Book...
As stated earlier this reader enjoyed this book. The author's name is unknown. It is kept anonymous. The series of books is written by a different author/s for each book. Even so, the main character is consistant and plot just as exciting.
I recommend this Book because...
Thee little paperbacks are easy to take with you on a plane, bus, or train trip. While the reader is basically waiting he or she can mentally visit exotic places and meet these character and watch them interact.
I don't recommend this Book because...
They are concise little stories set in exciting places with unusual characters.
Further Comments... | ||
The stories told today are full of details, sometimes more than is needed. During the era these books were written, the approach was different. Sometimes less is more and so although these certainly aren't lacking details the story is told in a concise and interesting way. It a a story you won't want to put down once you start reading.
