Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is the true story of when Iran took American Hostages in 1979. Their psycho ways continue to this day, but this film is a peek inside that hell hole of a country. I enjoyed it a lot and could see why it won Best Picture.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone who knows what went on in 1979. I was alive and aware of it, but I had forgotten about those six people that were snuck out of the country. I don't think I ever knew the true story until I saw this movie.
I especially liked... | ||
Ben Affleck as a Director and as an actor. I also enjoyed Alan Arkin and John Goodman.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
see more movies directed by Ben Affleck. He is better than I thought as an actor, too. He has grown and matured, or I have.
This DVD made me feel...
like Israel should lob one over sooner rather than later.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
is very good. I like how the historical footage is blended. It made me feel like I was transported back in time to the early days when Ted Koppel hosted Nightline.
I recommend this DVD because...
it was much better than I expected. That rarely happens with movies these days. Mostly I am disappointed.
Further Comments... | ||
I found it interesting that John Goodman costarred in two films that won back to back Best Picture Oscars. He's got a good eye for a script.
