This is the story of a disabled, elderly writer. He goes to dog sit in a cabin near a lake which offers free rent for the summer. He has a drinking problem, but soon becomes acquainted with the neighboring divorced woman and her three daughters. One daughter, Finnegan, wants to write and she enlists his help. She ends up helping him more than he helps her.

This was heartwarming, entertaining and wonderful. It was a random netflix choice and ended up being one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Lovely story!

anyone who loves great storytelling in movies. Rob Reiner did an amazing job of directing this movie, but when you have Morgan Freeman, you have a big leg up at the start.

it is a fine story with likeable and believable characters and plot. It was much better than I hoped it would be. Lovely movie!
