This is Season 2 in this delightful 4 season series. In this season, James Dowling moves back to Candleford and opens the Golden Lion Hotel. He was raised by Queenie (and Twister lol) in Lark Rise so he will always be a Lark Rise boy. He develops a problemmatic relationship with Dorcus Lane, the postmistress. Minnie, the nutty housekeeper for Miss Lane, is introduced and the Timmins family, headed by Downton Abbey's Brendan Coyle, has a lot of drama. I enjoyed this season, especially Thomas Brown's romance and marriage to Miss Ellison. lol | ||

Thomas Brown and Little Man, Sydney who comes in at the end. I was sorry to see James go shortly after Sydney arrived. | ||
