It's an incredibly touching story. I'm not one to cry easily with a book, but I openly wept at the end of this ebook.

The book does not openly display any violence toward animals, but the writer rescues dogs, so there are allusions to violence toward animals. (I wanted to put a warning in here because I know some animal lovers are very sensitive to those topics)

I really didn't expect to be so touched by this story. I'm not an overly sentimental person, and though I like animals, I wouldn't say I'm an animal "lover" exactly. This book, and the dog Lobo, really did affect me, though.
