Summary of this DVD...
This movie is based on the Mauve Binchy Novel of the same name. It is about two women, one American and one Irish. They both have devastating events in their lives and decide to take a break and switch houses for a couple of months. It helps them both come to grips with what they are dealing with - death of a child and breakup of a marriage because of infidelity.
I especially liked...
Andie MacDowell. She fit the character from the book perfectly. Not so much Olivia Williams because in the book I believe she was supposed to be overweight.
I didn't like...
the guy who played Ria's scoundrel husband. He didn't fit the part - wasn't very attractive at all.
This DVD made me feel...
like for part of the time I was in Dublin. It was pretty good in that sense.
The cast of this DVD...
was pretty good, with Andie MacDowell being exceptional.
I recommend this DVD because...
anyone who enjoys a good story will like it I think. It is not as good as the book was though.
