Summary of this DVD...
This is the 4th Season of the TV Series Mad Men. At first, I wasn't sure if I liked it. It sort of turned me off. But then I started to see the two characters of Don Draper and Peggy Olson as the male and female versions of the same person. That split personality thing is what keeps my interest.

In the 4th Season Don and the others go out on their own with their advertising agency in the 1960s. Don Draper looks a little like my dad so that interests me too.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone who enjoys great acting and good writing.
I especially liked...
the interaction between Don and Peggy and the slow development of their relationship.

I also like what I see in the development of the character of Peter Campbell. He is quite an interesting puzzle to me.

Also Sally's similarities to her mother are intriguing. Sally Draper is one to watch in this fascinating series.
I didn't like...
the stupid Roger/Joan thing and the fact that she is keeping the baby without telling him. Whatever. I also don't like Don when he is cheesy and romantic. It totally didn't fit for him to propose to what's her name in the last episode. How weird.

I don't really like when Don goes to California. All that happens there doesn't really fit with Don's behavior back in NY.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
see season 5. I have to wait for it, but the waiting will be worth it I am sure.
This DVD made me feel...
like I am watching a good series, not great, but interesting.
The cast of this DVD...
does a great job with some uneven writing. Jon Hamm and January Jones and Elizabeth Moss are standouts.
I recommend this DVD because...
it is a good drama. You would have to watch from the beginning and watch every episode though to get some of the little things that go on.
