Summary of this Book...
This book is the story of the Secret Service Detail that was assigned to President John F. Kennedy and how they feel about what happened before, during and after November 22, 1963. It is one of the best accounts I have read of what happened that day.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who is interested in the history of the JFK Assasination and what really happened.
I especially liked... | ||
the way the story dealt with Clint Hill and all that he did and that interview he did on Sixty Minutes. I think him cooperating with this book has put a lot of rumors to rest.
I didn't like... | ||
the way President Johnson is portrayed. I don't think it is fair to compare him or his personality to JFK. They were very different people.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
watch the documentary that goes with it.
This Book made me feel...
like I am finally convinced that Oswald acted alone. This is the most convincing book I've read on the subject besides Gerald Posner's book.
The author of this Book...
is one of the Secret Service Agents who was assigned to JFK so he was able to get the others to finally open up almost 48 years later.
I recommend this Book because...
it is history and it is a compelling look at how far the country has come in terms of security for Presidents and candidates.
