Summary of this Book...
Once again serial killing is on the loose in New York and Michael Bennett (the single father of ten adopted kids) is on the case. Lots of action and supense in this book kept me reading although it dragged a bit at the beginning.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who enjoys the Michael Bennett series - this is the 4th book in that series.
I especially liked... | ||
the stuff about the kids being bullied. I wish there was more to that and the resolution wasn't quite that easy.
I didn't like... | ||
the whole killing angle because it was very familiar to me after having read James Patterson a lot this past year. He uses the same device and it was surprising at first, but now it has become predictable.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
read the next in either this series or the Women's Detective Club that comes out next.
This Book made me feel...
like I know Mr. Bennett a little better each time out and I like him more and more.
The author of this Book...
really needs to come up with a different surprise move with the serial killers. I will not give it away, but it's been used now a few times in the books I have read.
I recommend this Book because...
James Patterson is a great storyteller and this character of Michael Bennett is one of my favorites. I like the slow developing romance issues too.
