Part of the Counter Strike series of games which was originally released as a multiplayer mod for Half Life.

The AI players/Bots feature for when you're not playing online or just looking for some practice without going on public servers. Also liked the single player missions feature although I don't really use it much. Love all the different weapons available. Watch out for my AWP...BOOM!

The amount of nonsense in it. When you switch to using your secondary weapon, your primary one just vanishes into thin air and disappears! Poof! Reloading while climbing a ladder without using your hands and not falling off while carrying 60+ lbs of gear. Defusing bombs by telekenesis just by looking at them. I can accept that though, as it is an older game and they creators didn't bother making the proper animations for all those actions. If I wanted to play a more realistic game, I'd probably play like Battlefield: Bad Company 2 or something.

Also, there's been an increase in cheaters and hackers lately in online servers...

You can never be finished a game with all the online multiplayer oppertunities.

It's really fun! Perhaps the most well known first person shooter out there. Not to mention all the multiplayer oppertunities if you're interested in that.

It's getting old although a lot of people still play. It can get a bit boring after a while.

I've played the original Half Life: Counter Strike and the beta Counter Strike 1.5 for the longest time. They wern't playable online. All my friends who played Counter Strike played online so I wanted to join them. Bought Condition Zero along with 1.6 for $9.99 on the Steam store.
