This is the story of Harvey Milk, the first elected openly gay official who was prominent in San Francisco in the 1970's. He was murdered by another public official in a shooting where the Mayor of San Francisco was also murdered.
I didn't like...
anything about this. i made several attempts to watch and fell asleep. This is one of the most boring movies I ever bought.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
forget about it.
This DVD made me feel...
like the Oscars are as political as everything else (Nobel Prize) is these days.
The cast of this DVD...
didn't do the story justice. I thought Sean Penn totally overacted from what I remember about Harvey Milk.
I don't recommend this DVD because...
it is bad acting and really slow moving.

I thought this was awful. Sean Penn totally overacted and I thought the characters and the story deserved better than was afforded them here.

I totally could not stay awake to watch this one.
