This is (as far as I know) George Strait's only foray into acting in movies. It is cheesey, but I enjoy it a lot.

It is the story of a country singer who gets tired of the gimmicks and wants to go back to his "pure country" roots. While he's looking for them, he finds love.

anyone who thinks George Strait is pretty cute.

George Strait. His acting is a little questionable, but his singing is wonderful.

see it again. I watch this everytime it comes on Country Music TV, which is about every other month. It's a classic.

like listening to George Strait sing. Sometimes on CMT they follow it up with a George Strait concert. Lovely!

knows that George Strait is not a born actor and they do their best to help him out.

...well. I recommend it for anyone who is a George Strait fan. It is not the best acting in the world, but it is entertaining to watch him struggle with the plot and the facial expressions.

My favorite line is "Get your ass out of here". He says it twice and a couple of years ago Dierks Bentley and he lampooned in a music video where George Strait points and tells a dog to get his ass out of Dierks Bentley's trailer. Very funny!
