This is the BBC version of the Jane Austen Novel about the very available Bennett sisters and their adventures in relationships as their mother tries to secure good connections for them.

It features the prideful and very appealing Mr. Darcy, as played by Colin Firth.

anyone who enjoys the writing of Jane Austen.

Colin Firth. He is the only actor I can ever accept as Mr. Darcy, after seeing this 5 hour version. I watch it every little while when I want to immerse myself in romance and humor.

the ending that is abrupt. I would like to see a little more about the fate of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy with this cast.

like I wanted to see more movies based on Jane Austen novels. This is, by far, the best adaptation I have seen, thanks largely to Colin Firth.

is quite good, but they are all overshadowed by Colin Firth. He steals the attention from the moment he appears. This is the best performance that I have seen, to date, by him.

it is romantic and funny. The story is timeless and the acting is amazing. Colin Firth is totally captivating and believable as Mr. Darcy. He is Mr. Darcy and there will never be another Mr. Darcy for me.

This is quite long, but in a good way. It is a multipart miniseries and much better (in my opinion) then any of the shorter versions that have been adapted for the movies. Anyone who enjoys Colin Firth as Darcy in Bridget Jones Diary should see this movie to see the origin of the character.

Holy cow, this is a good miniseries. I will never get tired of watching P & P with Colin Firth!
