Summary of this Book...
Aidan’s First Full Moon Circle. Written and Illustrated by W. Lyon Martin.
Magical Child Books – an imprint of Shades of White. Crystal City, MO. 2008.

In this adorable children’s book by Lyon Martin, Aidan is attending his first coven ritual with his parents, whom normally practice at home as a family.

Aidan’s family goes to camp out with the coven and Aidan is chosen by the High Priestess to open and close the circle during ritual.

This children’s story addresses different issues relative to today’s Pagan child – attending a new ritual, meeting new people, sleeping outside, and a personal encounter with the Goddess.

The illustrations accompanying the story are beautifully designed and will help draw any child into the story.

The book is also accompanied by Seamus - a squirrel who is pictured with different numbers of acorns to the side of the story picture. The child is then to search and find the same number of acorns in the story picture.

This is a beautifully written and illustrated book to share with your Pagan raised child, and to help them learn more about the Pagan world around them.
