In my opinion this is one of the most useful tools available to creative writers today. It is packed complete with 70 short, simple writing exercises in order to spark your creativity. An example of one of the exercise is described as follows: Write down five characteristics of a person who you admire. Then, she suggests some questions that you should answer about this person as related to how that individual has impacted your life. She also talks quite a bit about how to deal with writing when the "muse is not there when you need her." She deals quite a bit with writer's block and she is an inspiration to beginning writers. | ||
