Summary of this Book...
The main character of Twilight, Bella, finds her darling vampire has left her. She turns to a friend for guidance, but finds he has a secret of his own- he is a werewolf (of sorts). Torn between her true love and best friend, she must keep the peace between two races, and within her own mind. In the end, she manages to bring her love home to her again, and save him from certain death. Though he doesn't like it, her friend stands by, a silent sentinel in case her vampiric love acts as cold as his skin, chosing to love her from afar then to intervene and cause her suffering.
This type of Book is good for...
This is great for those who loved Twilight for the actual mythology based plot- if they read Twilight simply for the vampires, then they are bound to be dissappointed.
I especially liked... | ||
The way the werewolves looked directly similar to their human alter-egos.
I didn't like... | ||
Some details felt forced, and in general, the plot was over dramatic.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
I wanted to leave this book to collect dust on my shelves, as it is one book I will not consider rereading.
This Book made me feel...
Confused, somewhat entertained, and annoyed.
The author of this Book...
Needs to rethink teenage emotions- a break up, no matter how amazing the significant other was, does not cause catatonic and suicidal depression without the person being relatively unstable first.
I recommend this Book because...
It was able to keep me busy for a day or two
I don't recommend this Book because...
Many aspects felt improper, poorly detailed, and generally pathetic. The foreshadowing is woefully obvious, and leaves the reader saying, "Ok I know what happens already, I don't want fifty pages of teen melodrama. Please, give me the details and end it so I don't have to read this any longer."
