"Fallout 3 takes place in a post-apocalyptic, retro-futurist Washington D.C. and parts of Maryland and Virginia in the year 2277 after a world war over resources which ended in nuclear holocaust in 2077. The player character (who can be either male or female according to the player's choice) lives in Vault 101, a fallout shelter situated close to the ruins of Washington, D.C. The player character lives with their widower father James until, one day, the PC wakes up to find that James has left the vault and ventured into the wasteland for unknown reasons. The Vault Overseer becomes suspicious and orders his men to kill the PC, forcing them to go out into the Capital Wasteland where they must follow their father's footsteps. Along the way, the player will encounter various factions, including the Brotherhood of Steel, a group of technology-coveting survivors from the American west coast; the Outcasts, a group of Brotherhood of Steel exiles; and the Enclave, the elitist and genocidal remnant who claims to be the U.S. government"

Those who like Survival/Horror games, Action/Adventure games, Shooter games, and RPG games should play this game

Almost everything in the game was unbelievable. These creators are famous for THE ELDER SCROLLS SERIES.

The Graphics: Amazing Hi-Def graphics. It almost takes you to a knew world.

The gameplay: I love the fact that you can switch to 3rd person and 1st person, which I use both as much. (3rd for traveling, 1st for fighting.) The game has an EXTREME amount of gore. Lets say you shoot someone with a teddy bear, they might explode into a bloody mess with eyes and guts and blood everywhere.

The characters: bring the game to life in every way possible. They eat, they sleep, they drink, they converse. I could go on and on. Another thing is cussing is like candy and a candy store, there's a lot of it.

The Music: Is it not AWESOME to shoot somebodies head off while listening to 40s music. It doesn't get any better than this.

I could go on and on but that would take FOREVER quite literally so here is this amazing website

The fact that you could only go to level 20 and the story doesn't continue after you beat it so take your time. It's the only way you can enjoy the game.

(Heads Up: TAKE IT BACK! is the final mission so don't do it unless you're ready)

Kind of lonely. You could play for hours on this game and not see a single person let alone the sad look of the world destroyed. Everything is brown. There is no such thing as grass or trees but...

ARE AWESOME! If you like THE ELDER SCROLLS games than play FALLOUT 3. In my opinion, it leaves TES in the dust or "PRISON CELL"

It's a great experience. It has mixed emotions through the whole thing and if you're like me, you want to feel how they feel.

Who the heck wouldn't recommend this game! You'ld have to be loopier than a hoola hoop.

My favorite game by far.
