Summary of this Book...
Angels Fall by Nora Roberts is an adult romance-thriller. When Reece is running away from her past, her car breaks down in a small town of Angels Fall. There, she witnesses a murder. Her psychotic history adds an interesting twist to the plot
This type of Book is good for...
Cheesy Romance/Mystery Readers
I especially liked...
The mystery keeps the last hundred or so pages turning, an exciting mystery. The romance in the novel makes it also an enjoyable read for two different types of readers: mystery and romance. That opens up the book to more readers, meaning more people will buy it; an excellent product strategy.

In the romance perspective of the book, I did like it. Reece and her lover go through trust issues, like most couples do. It also showed an attraction that couldn’t be explained. Even with Reece’s history, he still loved her and didn’t know why. That sort of bond is eminent.

The reader definitely wants to know the murderer. Since Reece is the only witness, the murderer uses her psychotic past to mess with her mind, making the story even more interesting; a clever murderer is always a good one.
I didn't like...
The product strategy slows the book down a bit. For mystery-loving people, the romance in it can be somewhat of a nuisance. For romance-loving readers, the mystery can get in the way of the romance. The mix of these two genres is interesting, but half the readers I talked to had to put down the book for a while because it became “a little boring.” As most Nora Roberts’ novels go, the sex scenes, of course, were cheesy and very stereotypical; not very creative.

There is only one clue that leads to the actual murderer, and that clue is used by Reece to find him out. The clue is uninteresting and vague and could never convict someone. The clue could’ve been useless without the ending scene. What makes a good mystery is several clues throughout the story that lead to the murderer, but don’t give it away, so at the end of the book you say “duh!” Nora Roberts fails to do this.

There is too much filler in the novel, making it a slow read.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Give it away and never read it again.
This Book made me feel...
Bored
The author of this Book...
has many novels, but seems to prolific and doesn't spend a lot of time on her lengthy novels.
I recommend this Book because...
The movie is better after you read it.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It is a slow read.
Further Comments...
I would only go as far as saying to check it out from the loacal library if you wanted to read it. Buying it paperback would also suffice, but a hardback edition would be a complete waste of money.
