Mackayla Lane's life has gone down the toilet. Her sister was killed in Ireland, the Police aren't doing anything, and Mac is seeing monsters on the streets of Dublin. When she meets the mysterious Jericho Barrons, Mac learns about the world hidden from the world. Filled with Fae, both light and dark, super speedy Sidhe-seers, and abilities Mac didn't know she had, she has to figure out who she can trust and who killed her sister.

It's a good, race-to-save-the-world book. Nice for a sit back and relax read.

I loved the interaction between Mac and Barrons. Mac's voice, as this book is in first person, is strong, witty and expresses the character's state of mind wonderfully.

I wanted the author to hurry up with the next book!

While I read this book, I got caught up in Mac's emotions. Grief, shock, intense anger, killing rage, everything from both sides of the spectrum.

Karen Marie Moning has a real talent for taking the modern world and turning it on it's axis. She has created a world that is perfectly unbalanced between the world of the Faerie and our world.

You'll really enjoy the characters, and Mac's struggle with what is right and what is wrong.
