It's good for mystery, horror, action, and romance lovers alike. There's usually a lot of sex in the Anita Blake series, but there was a bit less in this one. A long read, but well worth it. If you like the supernatural, this book won't disappoint you.

The mystery... lately the Anita Blake series has been a tad lacking in that department, but The Harlequin has brought it back. Also, Hamilton's writing is fantastic, if a little lacking in the plot department at times (in other books).

Some of the added sex... it gets a bit much every now and then. Not to mention Anita gains new powers at the drop of a hat nowadays.

Read the next Anita Blake book. This series is LONG, and there are always new books coming out (every other year or so). It also made me want to read the first few books, which were the best.

Excited! I was so happy that the books seemed to be back on track. I'd been waiting for some more action and mystery, and this one certainly brought that to the table.

Has a rich style of writing. She is very good at what she does, and you can tell she enjoys it. Some of her more recent books have been lacking, not in good writing, but in good plot and mystery. Luckily, The Harlequin is not one of those books.

It's a fantastic read. It's got mystery, action, romance, vampires, werewolves, supernatural powers.... sex! Anything and everything you could imagine. It's a nice, long read with a variety of characters that will never bore you.

If you enjoy reading about vampires and werewolves, with an independent, dominant female main character, read this book. It's a page turner.
