Summary of this Book...
"Life is messy...People, generally, suck." Just one of the many lines that should have you rolling in the aisles with another wonderful story from Mr. Moore. We're back in Pine Cove, several years later and we meet up with several old friends (you must have read a few of Moore's other works to know who they are). It's Christmas! A time for festivity and fun, but as usual Moore brings in his wicked sense of humor and we somehow end up with an angel - called Raziel - who is not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer - appearing to perform his 'miracle' for the season. He's got a penchant for candy and has the IQ of a five-year-old. Somehow he manages to twist a kid's wish to revive Santa Clause from the dead and ends up creating zombies that terrorize the town. Ouch. Can we say 'Merry Christmas'? This is a laugh-out loud and yet horrific tale of a Christmas holiday gone awry. There are new memorable characters that will have you in stiches and a conclusion that should bring a smile to your face.

Those who like comedy, horror and tales of the absurd
I especially liked... | ||
The characters! They definitely make up the story and Moore does a good job pointing each one out and showing their characteristics - things that make them memorable long after the last page has been turned.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read more of Moore's books!
This Book made me feel...
Pleased and satisfied and eager to know more about pretty angel Raziel's past. Good grief, how can one angel be that clueless??
The author of this Book...
Christopher Moore | ||
I recommend this Book because...
You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want to call up your parents and wish them a Merry Christmas even though it's not that time of the year.
