Too long. Too much. But what a glorious smorgasbord. 90 minutes of the Fabs at their most diverse. Great rock and roll, great pop songs, beautiful ballads, and some primo weirdness from John and Yoko. For the "White Album", it's very dark. George gets four songs, including one of his best. It's more a collection of solo material than a true group effort, though.

Late night listening.

"Why Don't We Do It In The Road" (yuck!), "Everybody's Got Something To Hide (Except For Me And My Monkey)" (too repetitious).

Play it again.

Spooky.

It's the bloody Beatles White Album! (To quote Paul.)

If only Apple would rerelease this with the added tracks "What's The New Mary Jane", "Not Guilty" and George's demo of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", it'd be perfect.
