One record everyone who likes the Beatles even a little should own. They softened up their sound with acoustic guitars, giving their work a folk-rock flavor, and used some exotic instruments such as the sitar. But there are rockers here, too ("Drive My Car", "What Goes On"). Filled with songs that are indispensible. Some of Lennon's finest Beatles songs are on this record. | ||
