Summary of this Book...
Dean Koontz will often write about a deep relationship the main character will have with his wife and wife to be. This story is one that is entirely set around a man who will go to the ends of the earth and walk through fire for his wife. The story is set around Mitch who runs a landscaping business in a small town. One day his wife is kidnapped and a ransom note has been left. The kidnappers give Mitch an ultimatum which is to come up with the 2 million dollar ransom, or love his beloved wife forever. Mitch goes through his finances and realises that there is no way; short of robbing a bank he'll be able to come up with the money. So he goes to his very successful brother to let him in on what is going on and ask him for a loan. Then the plot thickens and the wheels are set in motion to a strange series of events packed with action and mystery. A MUST read for all Koontz fans.
This type of Book is good for...
A great thrill ride that Koontz never fails to deliver to his readers.
I especially liked...
How the twists and turns come out and you are never able to fully predict what is going to happen.
I didn't like...
Most people didn't like the ending of this book; but I loved it! I say go Dean!
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Go and grab another Koontz book and read it!
This Book made me feel...
Adrenalin for the characters mainly. Dean always managed big story lines and plots that twist and turn more than a snake running from an Eagle.
The author of this Book...
Dean Koontz
I recommend this Book because...
It's a great storyline and you immediately fall in love with the characters.
I don't recommend this Book because...
Nothing
