The main character, Jerry, risks his life and the life of his dogs to take a man across the snow. Because of this delay, his team couldn't get out before the storm and the dogs had to stay behind. The dogs suffered through the storm and winter alone, while Jerry fights his way back to them.

This is a great movie about sacrafice and love. It is good for the whole family.

I especially like that it allowed us to get a sense of the emotions from the dogs, and even they care for one another.

That there is hope and unselfishness still left in the world.

Did a phanomenal job of keeping a light-hearted feel in intense situations.

The message is one of hope, and everyone needs hope.
