A brilliant, chilling story, which Michael Morpurgo should be very proud of. The characters Tommo, Molly, Charlie, Big Joe, The colonel, Sargent 'Horrible' Hanley, Wolfwoman (not literally) and Mother bring this story of WW1 alive, my favourite Michael Morpurgo.

Anyone, except young children, it may scare them very much. I especially recommend this book to any teacher and use it for lessons

The way they used animals to activate certain emotions through the characters. The way they referred to there Great Auntie as 'Wilfwoman' and that Tommo loves Molly his whole life, actually, I shall not give a lot of it away, I want to see your faces when happens.

Michael Morpurgo, I am sure everybody has heard of him.

It's just so brilliant, the way the author describes certain scenes is amazing. I also recommend it because it will spark of hidden feelings inside you.

It may be a bit too scary and upsetting to people who are very fragile or are young children.

I did not want to put this book down, sheer excellence. many characters I felt what Tommo felt about them. Oranges and Lemons is used in the book to add bonus effect.
