Eragon, a fifteen year old farm boy, finds a blue stone hunting in the spine. He soon realizes that it's an egg. The dragon's name is Saphira, and they travel throughout Alagaesia with an old man named Brom and halfway throughout the story, Arya. I won't spoil anything.
