Summary of this Book...
Ellie, the narrator, and her friends Homer, Lee, Kevin, Corrie, Robin and Fiona embark from on a week-long camping trip in the Australian bush.

While staying in an isolated area called "Hell", they see planes flying overhead with no lights on at night. They think this is strange, but dismiss it.

At the end of the week, the seven friends return to their homes to find them in shambles. Their families are gone. Their worst nightmare comes true as they realize that Australia has been invaded by a foreign country and their families are being held hostage.

The teens are forced to make a choice. Should they go back into the bush and hope someone will come and save their parents? Should they turn themselves in? Or should they take a stand and fight for their country?

When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
I am really looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
This Book made me feel...
This book really made me wonder what I would do in the characters' situation. It really made me thankful for what I have.
I recommend this Book because...
It offers everything. It's got romance, problem-solving, survival, and FEELINGS. If that not what you prefer, it's got action, adventure, suspense, and danger.
Further Comments...
This book was recommended to me by a classmate and neighbor of mine. He was a guy. It happens to be his favorite book. Just because it's narrated by a girl doesn't mean that boys wouldn't enjoy it too.
