Summary of this Book...
One Christmas Eve, Julie Barenson receives a Great Dane pup from her late husband, Jim. The dog does not take kindly to the new man in Julie's life, Richard. On the other hand, the dog idolizes Jim's best friend Mike, who has been in love with Julie for years. Richard turns out to be a stalker and a psycho. Julie ends up falling for "the good guy," Mike. No surprises here. Oh, and the dog dies at the end, trying to protect Julie.
I didn't like... | ||
The characters, the plot, the death of the dog, the predictability.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Never buy another Nicholas Sparks book ever again.
This Book made me feel...
Disappointed. I figured out the ending before I was even halfway through the book.
The author of this Book...
Should stick to romance. Suspense is obviously not his forte.
I don't recommend this Book because...
Many other writers do suspense better. Please give your money to them.

Still, I did read it through to the end, for some reason ... Probably because I was determined to read a Nicholas Sparks book all the way through ...
