Summary of this Book...
There's a reason CELL rhymes with HELL! On October 1st God is in his heaven, the stock market stands at 10:140, most of the planes are on time, and Clayton Riddell, an artist from Maine is almost bouncing up Boylston street. Things cahnge in a hurry, and the devastion that will come will be known as "the Pulse", and the delivery method in a cell phone...
This type of Book is good for...
People who love fast paced opening, interesting characters, and gore. It's a very vivid book, and emotionally intense as much as it is physically. Think Night of the Living dead movies.
I especially liked... | ||
The opening chapter to be honest, quote from chapter three, " They fought with feet and fists and nails and teeth, grunting and shouting and circling the bodies of maybe a half dozen people who had already been knocked unconscious, or perhaps killed." Not for those with a weak stomach.
I didn't like... | ||
The ending, it was a fast paced story, detail and "what next?" excitement but by the twenty last pages you know the ending won't be the best King can create.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read the first half again, perhaps write King and ask what's up with the lame ending?
This Book made me feel...
entertained, and on my toes. Had be thinking I was wise to not have a cell phone.
The author of this Book...
Stephen King. | ||
I recommend this Book because...
The intensity of the plot and characters. A vivid read!
I don't recommend this Book because...
The lame ending. | ||
