Summary of this DVD... | ||
David Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson, a comedy troupe called "The Kids in the Hall", perform a series of outrageous sketches in the first season of this fantastic show.
This type of DVD is good for...
...people with a good sense of humor. You need to be open to goofy humor that makes little sense to straightforward-thinking people.
I especially liked... | ||
...the creativity. One of the sketches is Mark McKinney pretending to crush the heads of businessmen by holding his thumb and forefinger in front of his eye and saying, "I crush you!" The acting is also alternately good and bad, depending on the situation and whichever seems funnier at the time.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
...write sketches of my own! I have written several, just when my system gets clogged up.
This DVD made me feel...
..."lighthearted", I guess. As a writer, I get down and depressed an awful lot, and watching funny videos like this always puts me in a laughing mood again.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
...are simply hilarious! They are known as the Canadian Monty Python. I loved them! Cast: David Foley Bruce McCulloch Kevin McDonald Mark McKinney Scott Thompson
I recommend this DVD because...
...sometimes, people just need to lighten up.
I don't recommend this DVD because...
I wouldn't recommend it to people who are easily offended. Sometimes the humor gets a bit crude.
Further Comments... | ||
I love this show! Anyone with a good sense of humor who likes Monty Python will likely agree with me.
