the history involved. I had never really researched Incan history before, nor did I know much about the South American site. This novel was an exciting history lesson for me.

a few of the characters were typical stereotypes. I felt the characters could have had a bit more depth to them.

James Rollins is known for his "Indiana Jones" style novels. His writing seems fast-paced and suspenseful.

it's a good, fast-paced story. I particularly enjoyed the setting and the twists within the story.
