An alt-country record by the band Wilco, which means a mix of country (fiddles, slide guitars, acoustic guitars) and rock and roll (electric guitars, feedback). Reminds me of Mike Nesmith's work with the Monkees in spots. Deeper than that, though. Ballads, rockers, a couple of pop numbers, epics. Sloppy endings, but heartfelt playing. | ||
