Basically, this book is a collection of advice from various sci-fi authors, including many articles by Issac Asimov (for movie buffs like me, the man who wrote "I, Robot," which I thought was a really interesting movie.) | ||

There's a lot of good tips about character and setting development. The authors try to pull in examples from different genres and demonstrate how the same themes can carry over into sci-fi. | ||

Some of the sections get highly technical, bringing in complicated elements of physics, anthropology, economics--it's useful info but sometimes hard to follow. | ||
