The music of Evanescence's 'The Open Door' is hauntingly beautiful. This music has a stunning combination of melancholy and hope. The topics seems to focus mostly on dealing with emotions, the people who evoke them, and the worthiness of the-self.

The tunes of the songs were beautiful and as usual so was her voice. The songs stand out from music that is similar. It has a distinct character to it.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about this CD.

I wanted to listen to it again.

It evoked raw emotion and energy.

Amy Lee of Evanescence truly has a gift for capturing fragments of the human soul. Her voice is amazingly powerful, soothing, and wonderful to listen to. She and the rest of the band add fantastic instrumentals to the already great lyrics.

I recommend this music because it's incredibly awesome.

There isn't any reason I don't recommend this music.

The only other CD of Evanescence I have is 'Fallen'. I absolutely love it and I can't believe that this CD is even better. I am extremely impressed and thankful for this wonderful music.
