This a collection of short stories. Most of the stories are focused on a secret that comes to light and how the characters react to that secret.

sitting in front of the fireplace on a snowy or rainy afternoon with a cup of tea at the ready. It's a nice escape.

"Hidden Lies," "Innocence Denied," and "The Crazy Woman Dance"

Some of the stories moved at slow pace.

Put together an anthology of my own stories. It was very inspiring.

optimistic. There's a lot of hope in the stories by Zabel despite the sad circumstances the characters are confronted with.

Zabel writes good character driven stories which test a person's will.

The majority of the stories do inspire hope. They focus on everyday people who are forced to confront the extraordinary.

Both Zabel and Jahangiri write very entertaining short stories.

For the product rating, just a little further clarification: I gave setting a 5 because most of the time, there was enough description for me to visual the setting, without it being over stated.

Story Plot I would have to rate on individual stories.

Author's writing style: Zabel 4.5
Jahangiri - 5.

Zabel, to me, is a more slow and delibrate storyteller, while Jahangiri's pacing was a little faster without losing characterization.
