Summary of this Book...
Stella goes to Jamaica and meets Winston. Stella is 42. Winston isn't quite 21. Should Stella let herself fall for Winston?
I especially liked... | ||
The best part of the book for me was when she first arrives in Jamaica (maybe the second day) and is going through the books she took with her, trying to decide what to read. She comments on all of them -- including Terry McMillan's Waiting to Exhale.
I didn't like... | ||
I didn't really find anything to think about.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read something deeper.
I recommend this Book because...
If you're looking for something light, it's a good read.
I don't recommend this Book because...
If you're looking for a more complex story, this book won't satisfy you.
Further Comments... | ||
McMillan writes in a very conversational, run-on sentence way. At first this annoyed me, but as I continued to read, I bagan to appreciate it. It drew me in and created the familiarity I needed to finish the book
