How surreal the whole thing was. The situation was very real, but I could barely tell the setting of the book. Only a few references to a 60's band and some of the language gave me a rough idea of when the book took place. As for where, it could have taken place anywhere, I suppose. I guess it sounds like something someone might not like, but I admire the timelessness of the book, basically.

Sad. There were some really sad parts in it.

Wrote this as a sixteen year old girl! I can't even imagine. Besides her age, she wrote this through the point of view of a bunch of guys, too. I was really impressed.
