As I began pursuing a writing career, I realized that there were a whole lot of grammatical rules that I was destroying. I didn't know exactly what those grammatical rules were, nor where I could go to learn them.

This book is really great because it is small and concise. The rules are short, sweet and to the point. It gives good examples and has made reviews I give other readers much more useful. Hopefully, I'll get these rules so engrained in me that I'll naturally write more correctly instead of rewriting and revising a million times.

Some of the examples are a little more ambiguous than I like.

Practice and read it again. Not to mention review people's stuff. It makes me much more confident in giving good feedback.

Was originally William Strunk. He was a professor at a University and thought his students needed a small handbook to help them with their grammar.

It teaches useful writing skills in a very straight forward manner.
