Summary of this Book...
This is the third book in the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Novels. After finding out that a rouge Master Vampire and hit clan are attacking "innocent" humans, Anita and her new assistant have to be extra careful when performing their Animator duties each night. And with Jean-Claude trying to get her to be his human servant, Anita does know where to turn. I know that you would probably want me to give you more detail, but trust me; Jean-Claude is yummy and Anita kicks ass!
This type of Book is good for...
Shivering autumn nights with a nice cup of hot chocolate, or maybe a scotch! What ever you prefer. Just be careful, this series is filled with gruesome inages as well as explicit sexual content.
I especially liked... | ||
The romantic edge that Laurell K. Hamilton gives to her vampires. Not unlike Anne Rice, but this series is set in the not so distant future.
I didn't like... | ||
Some scene were a bit to graphic for my vivid imagination, but we're talking monsters here! What do you expect!
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Find the next one! | ||
This Book made me feel...
Creepy at times, scared at others, and erotic at others! Pretty much the entire gambit of emotions!
The author of this Book...
Laurell K. Hamilton has an interesting take on the Monster World. Her prime character, Anita Blake is a wonderfully strong role model as well.
I recommend this Book because...
It takes you on a rollercoaster ride that you never want to get off of!
