Protagonist rents out her cottage to a young woman who is not what she seems. The main character is enveloped in mystery as she tries to pull herself free from her tenant's web of deception.

Anyone who loves suspense and enjoys trying to solve the mystery.

That Joy kept me guessing. The twists and turns in the story kept me coming back for more. Her characters were three-dimensional, genuine.

I wasn't thrilled with the way it ended but I believe it had to end that way to be true to its conclusion.

When I read something I like this much I am never happy to be done; I wanted to go back and keep reading, but there wasn't any more to read.

Surprised.

I've read most of Joy Fielding's books; they are all incredible. This one truly wowed me because it seemed so different from others I've read of hers. The plot twisted and turned in ways that didn't seem to be going anywhere at first but Joy kept it all on track and brought it to a startling and satisfying conclusion!

I think anyone who enjoys suspense or mystery will enjoy the book.
