The lead character here is Joe Mack, an Indian. He is a test pilot for the military, and when he was testing one of the newly-developed planes, he crashed and was imprisoned in Russia. I especially liked...
I like the way the lead character carries himself. i also admire the way the author portrayed the setting. The last paragraph in the end of the story was also very good. It left me wanting more.
The author of this Book...
Louis L'amour is a very good writer. He takes part of his stories out of his own experiences. If you read his background you'll be impressed with what he had gone through and what he has achieved.

Further Comments... | ||
I couldn't put this book down. This is a great read, with suspense scenes ending almost every chapter. The lead character is very resourceful and one you would admire and not say, "Get real. He can do THAT?". It was well-written and well-researched. I would recommend this to anyone who loves adventure books.
