The life story of Maya Angelou. She lived in Stamps, Arkansas, moved to St. Louis, was raped, stopped talking for some reason, moved back to Stamps, talked again, got pregnant and book abruptly ends. It is a combination of different paragraphs and stories that do not meld and sound coherent. It is the worst book I have ever finished.

absolutely nothing, not even the end for it made me realize that I had read intellignece draining drivel the entire way through.

every aspect of this horrible "book."

burn it and yell at the person who recommended it to me.

astonished because I was surprised this book could ever get published let alone made into a horrible movie.

Nobody should read this book especially if you are tasteful and have at least an IQ of your shoe size.
