The allure of Antarctica, a place still mysterious, untamed, and unspoiled, has beckoned tourists in increasing numbers as more and more people vie for a glimpse of its terrible beauty and stunning vistas. But there is one aspect of Antarctica they never see, perhaps the most interesting of all-the world beneath the ice.

Nature lovers. Science lovers. Travelers. Photographers. Just to name a few.

The photos are beyond a doubt breathtaking. It is so easy to think of only the cold and ice when thinking of Antarctica. With this book I was able to see the beautiful display of life beneath the ice. Antarctica is more than ice and cold it is alive with a rich variety of sea life. Each photos comes with explanations with biological or scientic information. I have learned so much more about how delicate the Antarctic ecosystem is and I recommend this book highly.
